Scotland - Lochcarron to Gairloch

While bouncing around the country side in New Zealand, we happened upon a Highland Cow.  Not sure that I'd find one here in Scotland, we stopped to take it's picture!  Lucky for me, just down the hill from our campsite in Gairloch was a field of 'Highland Coos' in the late afternoon sun!

We are eating out for dinner about 1 or two nights and maybe the same for lunches.  At a lunch stop we found these chips to accompany your sandwich, or toasty!  Yum, Yum!

Tom and I have tried black pudding and find it ok.  I wouldn't go out of my way to order it, but it comes quite often as a side to your meal.

Our drive from Lochcarron to Gairloch was full of more vista view points...just another pretty photo spot along the way!

One of the suggested stops along the way was the Gairloch Heritage Museum.
A boat display in the yard of the museum
and an interior display of 'kitchen items'.  The bottles in the window caught my eye!
