Tucson Botanical Gardens - more images
Here are a few more picks from our day at the botanical gardens. I spent some time today editing through the selections. I should have more to share in a day or so.
The Mexican Buckeye seed pods are very interesting. I find a beauty in the seed pods and drying/dyeing flowers as well as the blooms and buds.
The Botanical gardens also has a small butterfly house. Unfortunately, after a few minutes my gear started to fog up as I'd been out in the cold with it for a couple of hours. I got a couple of quick shots and left. I'll have to return with heated camera gear!
This framing just caught my eye, with the leaf appearing to hang in the air... magic in the garden!
And of course the doorway did as well....
The brilliant colors of the Gerber Daisies in the sun were stunning!
In a few short weeks, or less, we should be seeing the blooms of the cactus in our local deserts and hills.
