Aunt Bette
A hug from me while on a road trip we did in the Miata to visit her in Little River. A day spent at the beach and in the woods exploring some favorite spots.
After the two of us wandered her neighborhood searching and gathering King Boletes. These were sliced and dried and are very yummy!
A day of touring in Seattle during her 'Cheese Tour' a few years before we departed on Eagle. She spent 3 weeks road tripping searching out little farm creameries and boutique cheese companies, tasting and sampling the whole way. This was taken on our way to the Whole Foods in West Seattle for specific cheeses and the salt selection.
Bette enjoying one of her favorite pastimes. Sharing snacks and left over bread with the seagulls at a nearby beach. BTW, if anyone is looking for a Westfalia, white or silver.... let me know- I have two!
This was taken on Eagle while in Bodega Bay. After stopping in Eureka on our way down the coast, she jumped in the Westfalia and met us there, then hopped down the coast with us, sharing the time on land as well as being our taxi and tour guide, and waving to us from every point of land that she could get to!
Sail On, Ms Bette!
