Creating an outdoor kitchen

Since we've decided to stay in Tucson for a while, we figured it would be a good idea to create an outdoor cooking space to keep the heat in the trailer down for when the temperature get warmer!

After sampling pizzas made in the Camp Chef Pizza oven, we looked into the system..... and now own one.  It's not an anchor as it's all portable and breaks down into pieces.  We may have to travel with the pizza oven under the kitchen table, but we'll figure it out.  Not only does it do a fantastic job on pizzas, and calzones, I even tried a batch of cookies in it.  I was comparing parchment paper versus the cookie sheet.  The verdict is still out on whether the cookies are better this way or in my regular oven.  The cookies seemed a bit crunchier that usual, but I also took better care when measuring my ingredients this time!
We got the two burner unit package with a reversible griddle - smooth and lined, and a BBQ grill.
Tom likes cooking breakfasts, so he's been playing with the griddle portion of the stove.  Bacon, eggs and pancakes, and no bacon smell in the trailer!  I did a grilled tuna steak last night to go with our caesar salad.  It was good.  Our shopping trips have been focused more on items to be grilled.  Should be some good things coming up!

Note:  One of our projects was to put pin striping on the side of the trailer.  The shot with Tom is the before, the middle image shows the completed striping!  Check!
