Arizona - Tucson Our 'yard'
Our new 'space' for Eagles nest is tucked into a nicely shaded, very birdy spot!

The park is fairly quiet right now. We've met a couple of the other residents here, and anticipate meeting more real soon.

This is the view back down the 'hill' to our trailer. Lots of shrubs and bushes for the birds to hide and fly in and out of.
The hill to the right of us, and this part of the park, was, at one time, a water park. There are remnants of the water tubes and some water channels. The views overlooking the park are taken from the top of the 'launch' site. A sunset viewing platform for sundowners!
Every day there's a new 5th wheel or trailer pulling in to the sites. We've been told that in 30 days or so the place will be almost full!
The activities are being planned and the calendars are on the rec room walls: Bingo, yoga, bocci ball, crafts, tai- chi, hiking and biking groups, and lots of music. The owners are big into bringing activities into the park. They've got different food trucks several nights during the week. There aren't any restaurants or fast food places nearby. We're a bit away from town - it's 15 miles to the grocery store! I can do food trucks quite easily, and often we prefer it! Hmmm, I'll have to check the schedule for a taco truck!
By the time this blog posts, we'll be off on our final adventure for the year. We'll be in Costa Rica for 3 weeks of birding and exploring the country while searching for the magnificent Quetzals and other cool critters. Stay tuned.. I hope to be able to post a time or two while on the way around the country.

Hi Tom and Jeanne. This is Rob from Seattle. Hope you are well. If you get bored and need another adventure you should consider driving up and seeing us here in Anchorage. Spend a bit of time in Alaska and drive the Alcan. Would be a great experience for you two. We can probably even get you a fishing trip and some good halibut to eat. Come see us next summer if you can. Would love to see you two.
