South Dakota To Cheyenne Wyoming

 

An 8am start got us on the highway heading south.  Destination Cheyenne Wyoming, about 282 miles away.  One of our travel guidelines is we try to never exceed 300 miles, or 6hours of driving, and that can depend a lot on how the driver is feeling and the roads.

 

Buffalo Gap

We had a good day. Tom had gotten a good night sleep, and despite a few aches and pains, had good energy.  

The highways today were in good shape, and very straight!

 

 

We were pleased to have an uneventful day on the road. Our destination for the night was the Terry Ranch Resort 8 miles from the Colorado border.  We enjoyed nice hot showers and a dinner out.  Back on the road tomorrow.
