Slope Point - the real end of the world
The real end of the world, as far as New Zealand is concerned is actually Slope Point, about a one hour drive from Bluff, and on the way to our next destination.
This location required a bit more work to get there as it was a hike through a pasture of sheep to get to the marker out on the point. But what a lovely walk it was!
It isn't hard to tell which rig is ours...... the big one!
It was a lovely, but very windy walk to the point. We left the rain back in Bluff, but the wind seemed to be all over the southern end of the island.
The team - Tom and Jeanne, Lefty and the Hats!
and a couple of Jeanne shots
