Cairns Australia - Raintrees

On our return from Daintree Rainforest and River cruise, we passed through a small town with huge, towering trees over the highway.

They are called Raintrees, but I don't know anything more about them - how old these are, or how fast they grow.

I just know that they are awesome trees.

Looking up into the branches - it looks like a river delta.

And I'm only out of the Rv for 10 minutes and I come back to find this....
