Africa - Kruger National Park - Rhinos and Warthogs

Rhinos and Warthogs.

These two animal residents don’t pose well for photos, usually.

We have been very lucky to see several groups of rhinos in good locations – close, unobstructed and with good light. This is the first time we had actually seen them sleeping, then we went around the corner and these two , in the top photos, were up and moving around.
While we were watching the sleeping rhinos, the elephant cruised into the background.

Warthogs are sort of like the impalas in the we tend to not pay too much attention to them.  They are seen often in the park, and about every day we seen them either in our yard or passing down the road.  They stop and look, then hustle off to find whatever they’re looking for. I know this shot doesn't show their snouts and tusks but we all liked the backlit fur/hair.  Think paint brushes!
