A 'hot' drive home, Hwy 191- Cornodado Scenic Highway

I’m going to wrap up this alphabet animal series with the zebra.  I’m pretty fond of these animals.  I think it’s the patterning.  

 We have come across several groups of them some quite large and a few individuals.  We spent an hour and half one morning with a group that appeared to be just waking up. 35 or so zebras were nuzzling each other, nipping and biting ankles, taking turns rubbing on a group of trees. Several shots later, ok several hundred, and I’m really thankful that we have digital cameras!

Generally, they tend to be a bit camera shy, but this group was mellow with our being there.

 When they were done with their waking up, they walked off into the bush.
